About Me

Benjamin Derin studied law at the law schools of Berlin and Hartford, CT (USA). He is member of the Republikanischer Anwältinnen- und Anwälteverein e.V., research fellow with the criminological department at Ruhr University Bochum’s law faculty, an editor of the journal “Civil Liberties and Police” (CILIP), and author of several professional publications on criminal procedure, constitutional rights and police.
